New versions of ExpertGPS, EasyGPS, and GeoBuddy are now available. All three programs will now retrieve archived and saved tracklogs and fitness history from Garmin GPS receivers with USB interfaces: Garmin Edge, Garmin Nuvi, Garmin Colorado, Garmin Oregon, and others. You'll now see a "Saved Tracks" checkbox when clicking Receive from GPS.
I've made significant changes to how tracks and routes are stored in GPX files on the new Garmin GPS receivers. Each track or route is written to its own GPX file in the Garmin/GPX/ folder on your GPS. Please contact me if tracks and routes aren't appearing on your GPS like they used to.
ExpertGPS gets a bunch of new improvements:
- better grid lines and scale/datum data displayed over the map
- better TRS/PLSS coordinates for states covered by multiple meridians
- made it easier to work with scanned maps projected in a national grid projection (TM, Lambert, polyconic)
- the Select Tool now selects the top-most item if two items overlap on the map.
- better US National Grid and MGRS coordinates
- better KML export and View in Google Earth support
- fixed grid lines in Southern Hemisphere
- ExpertGPS Pro now exports hyperlinked waypoints and geotagged photos to ArcView
- added Lowrance USR, Garmin TCX, and Magellan WPT, UPT, and TRK to Import File command.
