I am a new ExpertGPS user. These days I found that when I open the ExpertGPS software under the UTM reference system, the two coordinatea are not Perpendicular.After points calibration, it is the same. Could u help me out?

The Quick Map view (which you've shown above) uses a lat/lon projection, so UTM grid lines will not be perpendicular to the edges of the screen. The Topo Map and Aerial Photo views use UTM projection, and the Scanned Map view uses the projection of the map.

Thank you for your response.However, I am not quite understand "and the Scanned Map view uses the projection of the map".what do u mean by the projection of the map? Could u explain it a little bit? Yesterday, I exported an image to JPEG FILE using Expertgps, the UTM grid lines are not perpendicular to the edges of the paper or screen.But for a map area of 8KM, with a scale 1:20000,it should be perpendicular to it.Could u give me some suggestions on how to improve the map?the map attached.
