Greetings;
I have a the Garmin Legend. I usually save, then clear the track log after an outing. I recently tried to "ADD PHOTO" to a found benchmark... after reading this post, I would image I should not save my logs until after adding photos. I will give this a try with subsequent finds, in the meantime: Is there anyway to match the existing photo/GPS times? Thanks in advance...

You can drag the photos from the Photo List to their proper place on the map.

I want to transfer waypoint data with a date/time stamp at waypoint collection into programs to match with digital photos. Specifically, JetPhoto studio on Mac, but there are several other programs available to do the matching.

My interest is using waypoint info with date/time stamp to tie mapped features to digital photos.

My older Garmin eTrex Legend doesn't do it for waypoints although tracks work just fine. However, rather than just use the track data, I want to set a WP for the location or feature of interest to locate it on a map, then add the associated photo information.

Garmin says their HC series provides the WP date/time info in a comment field. Do folks know if this works ok, or if another unit is preferred?

Thanks, Pat
