Downloading Benchmarks to GPS Problems

I have a Magellan MPlat GPS I have been successfully using the older V 1.3.7 . to down load geo caches and BM's from Geocaching web-site. Worked wonderful.

I just downloaded the newer 3.62V yesterday, it works awesome on geocaches but on Bench Marks it changes the prefix from XX to GC on all. It even converted some Easy GPS -BM (V 1.3.7) lists I had saved on my hard drive from Bench marks to geocaches prefix GC for each individual BM. What can I do to fix / prevent this?
